Funding Available for Graduate Study at The University of Arizona

Graduate Assistantships are available at the University of Arizona specifically for Mexican
nationals wishing to seek a PhD in any discipline related to Natural Resources and the
Environment.

Interested applicants are encouraged to contact faculty in the School of Natural Resources
and the Environment (SNRE) that work in their area of interest:

Graduate students in SNRE conduct research in ecology, wildlife and fisheries management,
conservation genetics, GIS, global change, and watershed and rangeland management.

These assistantships are intended to provide one year of financial support (a research
assistantship) while the student works with his or her faculty advisor to submit a CONACYT
fellowship application.

For additional information, contact Dr. Courtney Conway at cconway@ag.arizona.edu
or Dr. Adrian Quijada at aquijada@email.arizona.edu
